Living inTemecula

A dog-friendly Temecula weekend

This list uses places already in the directory and pages reviewed on October 27, 2026. A directory card is not a current pet policy. Read the source again the day you go. Heat, a private event, or a reservation can change what is allowed.

Redhawk Community Park

Redhawk Community Park is the directory listing. The City of Temecula dog-parks page, reviewed October 27, 2026, lists the park at 44747 Redhawk Parkway, Temecula, CA 92591: temeculaca.gov/1310/Dog-Parks. The directory card lists the same street with ZIP 92592. Use the city page for the address and confirm the entrance when you arrive.

That city page also lists Michael "Mike" Naggar Community Park at 29119 Margarita Road. There is no separate directory profile for Naggar, so this guide does not treat it as a listed stop.

The same page prints two hour lines and does not label which park each line belongs to: 5:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., seven days a week, closed for maintenance Tuesdays from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.; and 8:00 a.m. to dusk, seven days a week, closed for maintenance Wednesdays from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Confirm which hours apply before you leave.

City park rules, reviewed the same day, say "No dogs off leash and please clean up after your dog": temeculaca.gov/1092/Rentals. The dog-parks page names the parks. It does not, in the text reviewed, spell out an off-leash boundary. Follow the signs at the gate.

One winery sentence that is on the page

Wiens Cellars is in the directory. The directory card's street line is messy ("35055 Via del, Ponte Rd"). The Temecula Valley Winegrowers Association page, reviewed October 27, 2026, lists the tasting room at 35055 Via Del Ponte, Temecula, 92592, and puts this in the hours note: "Well behaved dogs are always welcomed in our outside areas." Source: temeculawines.org/winery/wiens-family-cellars. That is an association page, not a note you received from the tasting room that morning. The same page lists hours of 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., Sunday through Saturday. Confirm shade, water, and whether a reservation changes the rule.

An amenity tag is not a patio rule

Falkner Winery & The Pinnacle Restaurant is in the directory at 40620 Calle Contento, which matches the association page. That page, reviewed October 27, 2026, lists "Dog Friendly" as an amenity and does not add a sentence about where a dog may sit: temeculawines.org/winery/falkner-winery. A checkbox is not a leash rule or a heat policy. Call before you bring a dog. The association page lists tasting-room hours of 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.

A page that says no

Wilson Creek Winery is in the directory at 35960 Rancho California Rd. Its visit page, reviewed October 27, 2026, says the lower garden is first come, first served for parties of 10 or fewer, and that "no tents, shade covers, outside food, large ice chests, excessive décor or animals are allowed": wilsoncreekwinery.com/visit. Do not read this guide as permission to bring a dog to Wilson Creek. If you want to ask about another part of the property, ask the winery.

Before you go

• Open the page you are relying on again. The check date above is October 27, 2026.

• Bring water. These pages do not publish a heat cutoff.

• A welcome in an outside tasting area is not permission to use a city park off leash.
