Pickleball in Temecula

Two places in the directory had public pages that could be checked on October 27, 2026. Other pickleball cards exist. They are left out here because their pages were not reviewed for this guide. Confirm hours, fees, and which courts are open before you go.

City courts, not the street on the directory card

The directory listing The Pit Pickleball points at the City of Temecula pickleball page: temeculaca.gov/1217/Temecula-Pickleball-Complex. The directory card address is 31205 Pauba Rd. That street is not the address printed on the city page. Use the city page for where to play.

Reviewed October 27, 2026, the city page says:

• Temecula Pickleball Complex, 42569 Margarita Road: 17 courts, with 5 marked advanced (one of those also an ADA court), 6 intermediate, and 6 beginner.

• Margarita Pickleball Courts, 29119 Margarita Road: 8 courts.

• Both are first come, first served. The 17-court complex is open 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. The 8-court complex is available 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. unless a city class or league is using courts.

• The complex is lighted. A button turns the lights on for two hours, and the lights flash before they go off.

• Courts stay available for open play unless the city is using them for approved classes or ladder leagues. A schedule is posted at each court. The page says some courts stay open for open play even during classes.

• Private lessons and instruction are prohibited. Courts are not available to reserve for open play, instruction, or tournaments.

• City classes and ladder leagues: Classes@TemeculaCA.gov or 951-694-6480 ext. 4266.

One indoor club

SoCal Pickleball Club is in the directory at 41735 Winchester Rd, Temecula, CA. The club site, reviewed October 27, 2026, gives 41735 Winchester Rd, Temecula, CA 92590, and phone 951-383-1235. Source: [socalpickleballclub.com](http://socalpickleballclub.com/).

The page says the club has four indoor courts. Hours of availability printed there:

• Monday and Tuesday, 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

• Wednesday, 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

• Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

• Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

• Saturday and Sunday, 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

For organized and open play, the page says you must be 14 or older. Under 14, a full-court reservation is required and a responsible adult must be there. Cancellations are requested at least 48 hours ahead. The page also describes lessons, leagues, tournaments, glow play, court booking, and paddle rental. It does not publish a drop-in price in the text reviewed, so this guide does not quote one.

Before you go

• City courts and the indoor club are different rules. A city court is not a reservation, and the club's open play has an age line.

• The check date is October 27, 2026. A posted class schedule can take courts the morning you arrive.
